Group Rate Program
Enhance the health and happiness of your employees or students with the Bluebikes Group Partner Program.
1. Pick a level
Fill out the enrollment form and choose which membership level your organization would like to offer. You only pay for the employees who sign up for your program, and contributions are made annually.

2. Get your code
We'll provide you with a unique discount code to distribute to your employees. We’ll also send you internal marketing materials to promote this new perk to your members.
3. Pay invoices
Each month, we will send you an invoice listing every employee that signed up in the previous 30 days. Our online payment portal makes it easy to pay the invoice with a company credit card. (Checks are also accepted.)
FAQ
Do we have to pay for all of the employees in our organization?
You only need to pay for the employees who sign up for your Bluebikes Group Rate Program using your company specific code.
Will you help us promote the program?
Once you sign up, we will send a flier with your code and signup instructions for you to share with your team. We can update your code or send a new flier at any time.
How are we billed? Is the cost per month or per year?
You will be billed upfront for any annual memberships purchased using your company promo code. Will bill monthly for these signups. Once you’ve paid for a user’s membership, you won’t have to pay for that user until their renewal after 1 year.
What happens when an employee leaves the company?
When an employee leaves your company, there is no action required. Their Bluebikes annual membership is good for a full year, even if the employee leaves your organization before the subscription is up. You will not receive a refund or prorated amount and the employee will be responsible for their own renewal.
Will we get any notification when employees sign up?
We do not send notifications every time an employee signs up. You'll be able to review the signups when you receive the invoices and you can request an enrollment list from us at any time.
What if I don’t recognize someone on my invoice?
If you don’t recognize someone on your invoice, we can share their email address for further verification. If they are ineligible for the benefit, we can remove them from the invoice. We ask that you request removal upon receipt of the invoice, as we cannot cancel memberships after the initial signup period.
Can you share ridership stats for the program this year?
We can share overall usage under your company’s program, such as rides taken, miles biked, and more. We cannot share any individual usage data.
Do you have an employer portal where we can manage our program?
We do not have an online portal. You will have a dedicated account manager available to answer any questions about your account. If employees have any issues signing up, they can contact our support team here.
How do we verify an employee’s eligibility?
Your organization will get a unique promo code to distribute internally. We require email domain verification for all programs to ensure active, eligible employees are signing up only. Please list all eligible email domains at your organization. If this does not apply to your program, please let us know and we can discuss other options.
What happens when employees are already members?
If an employee is an existing member, they’ll have to wait for their current membership to expire. Then, they can renew their membership using your company’s promo code.
Does bike share qualify as a pre-tax commuter benefit?
At this time, IRS tax code does not recognize bike share as eligible for commuter benefits. There may be state or local programs in Massachusetts that apply- please consult your internal tax advisor for guidance.
How can we get a branded station?
