Summer T delays? Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is here to help. As the title sponsor of Bluebikes, the not-for-profit health plan is stepping in to make commuting easier, healthier, and more affordable during MBTA summer service interruptions.
Starting today, claim your free credit by entering BLUECROSSMAMBTA2 in the “Rewards” section of the Bluebikes app. You can use the credit for pedal or ebikes at any of Bluebikes’ 550 stations across 13 municipalities. But act fast—credits are limited, and must be used by December 31, 2025.
In addition, the City of Boston is offering 5 free classic bike rides or ebike unlocks for non-members during this time when you redeem these codes in the "Rewards" section of the Bluebikes app.
