Celebrate Earth Week with Free Bluebikes Credits from Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts

State’s largest health plan is providing free $15 Bluebikes credits and donating $1 per ride donation to the Environmental League of Massachusetts to support cleaner, healthier communities.
This Earth Week, Blue Cross is making it easier – and more rewarding – to ride sustainably. As the title sponsor of Bluebikes, Blue Cross is providing a free $15 Bluebikes credit from April 16-22, while supplies last!
The free $15 credit can be on both pedal and ebikes and across the entire Bluebikes system. To access your credit, use code BLUECROSSMAEARTH in the “Rewards” section of the Bluebikes App. Once redeemed, your $15 credit is valid through December 31 – but act fast, because quantities are limited!
Additionally, for every Bluebikes ride taken during Earth Week, Blue Cross will donate $1 per ride (up to $10,000), to the Environmental League of Massachusetts, a nonprofit committed to securing the health and wellbeing of the environment and of future generations.
Just one bike ride a day instead of a car trip can reduce transportation-related carbon emissions by 67%, according to an article published by the UCLA transportation department. That’s a small change with a BIG impact. So this Earth Week, skip the car and hop on a Bluebike – you’ll help create a cleaner, healthier planet with every pedal!
