When it comes to what you need most, your priorities are clear: bike and dock availability and station proximity are consistently ranked most important and your satisfaction with the app and customer service remains high. We work closely with the municipal owners of the system to add new stations and expand existing ones. Be sure to visit our Suggest a Station tool if you haven't yet.

  2. The appeal of our ebikes is stronger than ever! 68% of respondents have tried an ebike, demonstrating how quickly they've been embraced. Even better, ebikes are essential for keeping you in the system, with 62.4% of members citing their availability as a key reason for membership renewal—a notable jump from last year.

  3. The survey reinforces a consistent trend: Bluebikes users are embracing a "car-light" lifestyle. Only 36% of respondents own a personal vehicle. You rely on us for daily commuting and running errands, often choosing Bluebikes over walking or taking the T. We're proud to be a reliable tool that helps you maintain this preference for non-car transportation.

  4. More than half of our users—over 55%—reported that using the system has helped them become more confident and comfortable on a bike. This shows that Bluebikes is more than just a transit system; it’s an entry point for cycling, helping to build a more bike-friendly and comfortable user base.

  5. Rider loyalty is rock solid. An overwhelming majority of you reported being very likely or likely to renew your membership. You join for convenience and stay for the value! This is especially apparent in our Corp/Group members who make up over 50% of our annual membership.

  6. Commuting and errands are the primary uses. Commuting continues to be the primary reason riders utilize the Bluebikes system. Beyond commuting, riders frequently use the bikes for errands, shopping, and social or entertainment activities.
